Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial attitude and lifestyle on financial management behavior, with financial literacy as a moderating variable among recipients of the KIP Kuliah scholarship at Bina Darma University Palembang. The study was motivated by the importance of students' ability to manage educational financial assistance effectively and responsibly. This research employed a quantitative approach using an explanatory research design. A total of 100 respondents were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the assistance of SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that financial attitude and lifestyle have a positive and significant effect on financial management behavior. Furthermore, financial literacy moderates the relationship between financial attitude and financial management behavior but does not moderate the relationship between lifestyle and financial management behavior. The findings conclude that financial attitude and financial literacy are important factors in shaping the financial management behavior of KIP Kuliah recipients, enabling them to manage educational financial assistance more effectively, efficiently, and responsibly.
